How to brew delicious coffee in Turkish?

Many people cannot imagine their morning without a cup of coffee. It is a great start to the day. However, not everyone knows how to cook it correctly.

However, not everyone wants coffee from the machine, there are those who are not difficult to make delicious Turkish coffee. Turk for coffee should be copper and have a thin neck. To make Turkish coffee, you need:

  • ground coffee,
  • cold water,
  • long spoon.

To enhance the flavor, it is recommended to grind the grains before boiling. And the finished powder has a fine grinding, this will allow you to feel all the richness of the taste of the drink.

Cooking sequence:

1. Slightly heat the Turk over the fire.

2. Pour ground coffee into it in the proportion of 1 heaping teaspoon per small cup. The larger the cup, the more coffee will be required.

3. Warm up over low heat for about 20 seconds.

4. Fill with cold filtered or spring water.

5. Leave on the stove over low heat to warm up.

6. While the coffee is being brewed, prepare the dishes. It is necessary to pour boiling water into it so that it warms up well. If you pour ready-made coffee into a cold cup, then its taste will immediately deteriorate.

7. After the coffee starts to smell, you need to throw a pinch of coarse salt into the Turk. From it, coffee will acquire a more pronounced taste and aroma. You can add sugar, as well as spices - cinnamon, ginger, vanilla or cloves. Additives can be put before pouring water, but they need to be taken quite a bit so as not to spoil the taste with cloying.

8. When foam appears in the Turk, you need to pour boiling water from the cups and put foam on their bottom.

9. Stir the coffee in the Turk and wait for the formation of a new layer of foam.

10. Remove the foam and turn off the fire. Care must be taken to ensure that the coffee does not boil. On the turned off stove, the Turk should stand for about a minute so that the coffee brews a little.

11. Pour into cups.
