Maragogype Plantation

Coffee with citrus flavor

Maragojape is a variety of Arabica coffee, characterized by an especially large bean size, hand-picked on the plantations of Central and South America. For the first time this coffee variety was grown in Brazil in the vicinity of the city of Maragojaip in the state of Bahia in 1876.

The taste characteristics of Maragojape coffee are close to those of regular Arabica coffee from the same region, but its taste is more intense. A drink made from this type of coffee has a balanced, rich, rich taste with citrus sourness, pleasant bitterness with a spicy aroma.
