To prepare the well-known "Americano", you will need about 30-40 milliliters of espresso, to which about 180 milliliters of hot water (at a temperature not lower than 90 degrees C) is then added. This coffee is characterized by a low strength, but contains a large amount of caffeine. It has a characteristic, diluted taste compared to other types of coffee.
Perhaps the most intricate coffee drink is Cappuccino. The Italians themselves traditionally drink it exclusively until ten, maximum, eleven in the morning. Therefore, when tourists order it in the evening or at lunch, they are very surprised. Cappuccino is served in a shallow, wide cup. The drink consists of equal three parts - espresso, milk and milk foam. Moreover, the latter serves as a kind of thermos, thanks to the foam, the drink remains hot. With the correct preparation of "Cappuccino" before pouring hot milk, the walls of the cup are smeared with coffee, which later forms a coffee ring. Thanks to him, the foam rises after a sip, and, ultimately, will remain at the bottom.
"Latte", on the other hand, is intended for the evening time of the day, as it contains a small dose of caffeine. To prepare this drink, you need to add 30 ml of espresso to 180 ml of whipped, hot milk. Very beautiful is Latte Macchiato, consisting of 160 ml of whipped milk, 30 ml of expresso and milk foam. Such a drink is poured into a transparent glass so that clearly defined layers of coffee, milk and foam are visible.
And the strongest version of coffee is "Ristretto" - it takes about fifteen seconds and is a suspended process of preparing espresso.
PS Lavazza is one of the most popular brands on the market right now, you can buy lavazza coffee so beloved by Italians for home, restaurant or even office.
