The National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History has opened the doors of its new coffee exhibition. Among the exhibits were hundreds of various coffee makers - from traditional Turks to full-fledged coffee machines.
Among other interesting exhibits there are more than 1500 types of coffee cups. Some of them were made in the distant seventeenth century. The organizer of the exhibition named Alexander Stulakov, an ardent collector, admitted that he had been collecting this collection for about forty years.
He also noted that he received his first coffee cup as a gift from his sister in 1978. And now his collection has more than one and a half thousand copies.
In addition, the exhibition presents unique paintings painted with coffee grounds. As the artist Dmitry Balik noted, in drawing pictures with the help of coffee grounds, its consistency is very important.
It is by diluting the consistency that a variety of shades can be achieved. Balik emphasizes that one can draw with coffee grounds not only on canvas, but also on paper. The unique coffee exhibition will run until February 23.
