The Ukrainian city of Zolotonosha has become a platform for the recently inaugurated Fes-Ukr plant. The event was made possible thanks to the investor - the Singaporean company Food Empire and the support of Mr. Simon Tenzing de Cruz, Ambassador Extraordinary of Singapore to Ukraine. The Ambassador considers the launch of the Singapore enterprise an important and positive signal for foreign investors.
The plant is equipped with modern Japanese-made equipment and works with coffee beans coming from their places of growth, including Brazil and Colombia. The cream extract comes from Indonesia and Poland, and the sugar is locally used. Three factory workshops work around the clock and produce about 25 tons of finished product per day, which is 24 varieties of instant drink of well-known brands.
The plant "Fes-Ukr", so far, is the only Singaporean enterprise in Ukraine. Investments of Food Empire in this project amounted to a little less than 200 million hryvnias, another 30 million hryvnias are planned to be invested in the development of the enterprise next year. "Fes-Ukr" provided jobs for 300 people. The planned launch of new packaging lines will bring additional jobs to the city.
