Ginger tea - useful properties

Despite the name, tea is not made from ginger. Ginger is added to already brewed traditional tea. Moreover, you can use any tea leaf, this does not change the essence, the main thing is that the ginger is fresh, in any case, not ground.

Ginger tea (it will be more correct) can be called a universal remedy for winter colds and flu. Especially if you add lemon and honey to the drink. The fact is that ginger has a unique property to “warm up” the body from the inside, and besides, it also kills many viruses and bacteria.

To get a healing drink

Brew tea, preferably green, in the usual proportions. Grate or simply cut into small pieces fresh ginger root (about 1 cm per cup) and put it in the teapot. Insist all together for about 10 minutes, always warm - you can put the teapot on a warm burner, near the battery, or just cover it with a towel folded several times. Pour the finished ginger tea into a cup, add a circle of lemon and a teaspoon of honey.

Or. Boil dry / fresh ginger root in water for about 5 minutes (about 100 ml of water per 1 cm root). Pour tea leaves with this broth, insist as usual and drink. For a greater warming effect, you can add a little red hot pepper.

What else can ginger tea do?

It also improves cerebral circulation, tones (but does not overexcite), improves memory and the ability to concentrate, thins the blood (like aspirin), normalizes the activity of the digestive system, and reduces flatulence (flatulence).

Therefore, tea with ginger would be quite appropriate to drink instead of a morning cup of coffee, with increased mental stress, for those who have a tendency to thrombosis, digestive problems. In general, ginger tea can rightfully be called an “elixir of youth” – with regular use, the skin becomes smooth and elastic, clears of acne and blackheads, wrinkles are noticeably reduced, joints become more elastic and flexible.

For those who want to lose weight, ginger tea will also be useful. It remarkably satisfies the feeling of hunger, especially in this composition: pour 3 cm of the root with a glass of boiling water for 20 minutes, add a slice of lemon and a teaspoon of honey. This recipe, moreover, stimulates the breakdown of fats (stored by the body) and removes toxins. Beauty - on the face (and not only)!

Ginger tea has shown itself well in the treatment of children's tummies. Children, after all, they often eat what they don’t need, or much more than they need, or in general everything in a row and somehow. As a result, the stomach hurts, the “gaziki” torment and, in general, it’s not good. And now, at such moments, you can give your child ginger tea: chop fresh or dry root (2 cm), boil (200 ml) over low heat for 5 minutes, cool under the lid, add a little sugar (optional). Drink warm, 1-2 tbsp. after 2-3 hours, until the condition returns to normal.
