Tea will warm during frosts

Mar 12 2013

Outside the window, the second month of winter will soon come to an end, which makes us think about the coming steady frosts. When they do come, doctors advise eating a hearty meal before going out. After all, it is hot dishes and drinks that serve as one of the most effective prevention of possible frostbite.

It is best to drink a cup of delicious, hot tea, which is known to be able to raise the temperature of the human body by as much as six degrees. However, it is worth remembering that this effect does not occur immediately, but after thirty to sixty minutes. After that, the temperature is slightly increased for several hours, which will help not to freeze at the time of being in the cold. You can warm up and relax while drinking tea in the hairdresser's chair, sitting in the office or at home in the evening.

Despite following all the precautions and drinking hot drinks before going out, being outside for too long, the body will cool, so you need to monitor the skin and, noticing the first signs of frostbite, such as whitened skin, try to get into a warm room as soon as possible and, of course, drink warm, freshly brewed tea.
