Pears in wine with cream sauce

Aug 17 2011

Ingredients: Red wine - 375 ml Pears - 6 pcs Cream - 150 ml Mascarpone - 150 g Spices - allspice, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, bay leaf, anise (you can use a set for mulled wine) Sugar - 150 g Lemon - a couple of slices

Candied fruits, nuts

We add spices to red wine, a couple of slices of lemon, a few candied fruits and heat, but do not boil. We cut off the bottom of the peeled pears so that they can be put in a saucepan and simmer over low heat in wine for about 45 minutes. When the pears become soft, take them out, cool and cut into 2 halves. After removing the seeds, stuff the pears with a mixture of mascarpone, whipped cream and vanilla sugar. Add sugar to taste to the wine and boil until syrupy.

You can sprinkle nuts on top, I have caramelized oatmeal.
