I am posting a recipe for an unusual bright manna with pumpkin. This delicious cake will surprise all sweet lovers with its rich taste.
Required products: 2 cups of grated pumpkin on a fine grater 1.5 cups of semolina 1.5 tsp. baking powder 0.5 cup sugar
1 glass of kefir
Zest of 1 lemon
Coconut flakes for sprinkling (optional)
For the syrup: 0.5 cup water 1 cup sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Preparation: Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Combine all the products - pumpkin, semolina, baking powder, sugar, kefir and lemon zest - mix well (this must be done quickly so that the semolina does not have time to swell, otherwise the cake will be too dense). Put the dough in a greased form and bake for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees.
Check the readiness of the manna with a wooden stick.
In the process of baking manna, prepare a syrup for impregnation: Bring water, sugar and lemon juice to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
Let cool. Pour syrup over the finished hot pie and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
Mannik should "float" in the syrup, that is, the top should be filled with syrup. After 30-40 minutes, the cake will absorb the syrup.
After that, you can sprinkle with coconut flakes or grate the zest of a lemon and sprinkle on top
