On our site you can find many recipes for making delicious pies. Today I suggest you prepare an interesting honey cake recipe that I found on the Internet. This cake is easy to prepare and has an unusual taste.
So the ingredients.
For the base you need:
Eggs - 4 pcs
Sugar - 1 cup
Honey - 4 full tablespoons
Soda - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 5 tablespoons
Flour - about 2 cups
For the cream we need:
Sour cream 20-25% -1 liter
1.5 - 2 cups sugar
Vanillin - 2 teaspoons
Zest of one small lemon
Cooking.
First, beat the eggs with sugar.
We put honey in a saucepan, turn on a small fire and begin to melt. If you see that honey has begun to foam around the edges of the pan, you must turn it off and immediately add soda. Mix quickly. You should get a strong foam.
Pour the resulting foam into the beaten eggs. Add butter to the resulting mass, then flour. The dough should turn out like a very thick sour cream. We take the form (I have a round 26 cm in diameter). Sprinkle the form with flour or cover with baking paper. Pour half of the dough into the mold. We heat the oven to 180 degrees. Slightly reduce the temperature in the oven and set the cake to bake for 20-25 minutes. Readiness is checked with a wooden stick. From the rest of the dough you need to bake the second cake. We cut the cakes each into 3 parts.
Let's prepare the cream.
Whisk sour cream with sugar. Gradually add vanilla and lemon zest.
We collect the cake. We spread cream on each cake and cover with the next one, etc.
Spread the finished cake with the remaining cream completely.
The cake can be sprinkled with grated chocolate or nuts.
Put the prepared cake overnight (or for 3-4) hours in the refrigerator for soaking.
