Usually tea is drunk as a separate drink. However, it is a great ingredient to include in a new drink or create an exclusive cocktail. Such cocktails can be served on New Year's Eve or on another holiday.
Caramel cocktail - "Ginger happiness"
Compound:
- 1 tea bag with vanilla or caramel flavor;
- 200 ml of water;
- a small piece of ginger root;
- 1/2 cup condensed milk;
- 1 small glass of white rum;
- mint leaves;
- diced mango.
Cooking:
Add water, tea bag, ginger and condensed milk to a saucepan. Let this mix simmer for about 2 minutes, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool.
Add rum, pour into glasses, garnish with mint and add mango pieces.
Green tea cocktail with martini - "Merry Leprechaun":
Compound:
- 2 ice cubes.
- 1/2 cup cold green tea.
- a small amount of martini;
- some gin;
- a little grated ginger;
- lime wedges for garnish.
Cooking:
In a mixing glass, add all the ingredients in the following order: ice, tea, vermouth, gin, grated ginger. Shake gently for a minute, strain, pour into glasses and garnish with lime wedges.
Tea - cocktail "Peppermint Emperor"
Compound:
- 1/2 cup of strong chilled tea;
- 1 small glass of whiskey;
- 2 teaspoons of sugar;
- crushed ice;
- a slice of lemon;
- mint leaves.
Cooking:
In a cocktail glass, add ice, tea, whiskey, 2 teaspoons of sugar and stir. Take tall glasses, pour cocktails into them, garnish with a slice of lemon and mint leaves.
