To make tea from sea buckthorn berries you will need:
- 200 g sea buckthorn berries;
- 550 ml. boiling water;
- 1 st. l. honey;
- 1 st. l. classic black tea.
Rinse and peel sea buckthorn berries. If you plan to use frozen berries for making tea, then they should be thawed beforehand. Grind until smooth without removing the pits. To do this, you can resort to using a blender or mortar.
Pour boiling water over black tea, add crushed sea buckthorn and steep for at least 15 minutes. Honey should be added immediately before use in order to preserve all its beneficial properties as much as possible.
Sea buckthorn tea recipe 2
Ginger tea with sea buckthorn has a special, original taste. The recipe is simple, and the preparation of this drink does not take much time.
Required:
- 550 ml. boiling water;
- 120 g sea buckthorn berries;
- 2 slices of lemon;
- 1 cinnamon stick;
- 3 cm ginger root
- Anise, honey to taste.
Grind the washed sea buckthorn to a homogeneous mass, the bones should not be separated. Grate the ginger root. Pour cinnamon, ginger and sea buckthorn berry puree with boiling water and infuse for 10-15 minutes. After this time, add lemon and sugar to taste.
