SoloMiya is a long-standing distributor of such well-known brands as Home Tea, Heavenly Pagoda, Batik and Askold. But recently, according to the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee, the SoloMiya company was convicted of deceiving consumers.
Experts of the antimonopoly department found that the name of the tea "Strawberry with cream" is not true, since the composition of tea instead of cream and strawberries includes only their aromatic counterpart.
Therefore, SoloMiya was recommended to correct the name of the product in accordance with its real components. So the tea is listed on the distributor's website as "Heavenly Pagoda. Strawberries with cream”, received a new name “Strawberry morning”.
The remaining disputed labels were disposed of, and the Committee received acts confirming their cancellation. In 2012, the highest prices for tea in the last two years were recorded, the level of which reached $4 per kilogram.
