Black teas of India

Indian black teas are strong, have a sharp characteristic taste and intense color of the infusion. The most famous of them are Assam, Darjeeling, Nilgiris, Namring.

Assam tea (Assam) is a variety of large-leaf black tea grown in the northeastern regions of India. Assam tea is tart, but not very fragrant. Brewed tea has a reddish or orange infusion color and a spicy aroma. A notable advantage of Assam tea lies in the ability not to lose its taste due to water hardness.

The most famous Assam tea is Assam No. 17.

Darjeeling is one of the best black teas in the world. It has a honey-rose flavor, and the same aroma. Infusion of Darjeeling is intense, bright, velvety. This variety has a variety of aromas, the most common of which have nutmeg and floral notes. Tea owes these characteristics to the conditions of its growth: a humid and cold climate, the location of plantations in the highlands, and soil features.

The most common are Darjeeling No. 28 and Darjeeling Avongrov Organic.

Nilgiris is the tea of the Blue Mountains, located at an altitude of more than 1800 meters. The infusion has a delicate fruity taste with a light citrus aroma. It has an excellent relaxing effect, for which it is preferred to drink it at the end of the day.

In our area, the most famous brand is Nilgiri Tiashola Organic.

Namring is an ideal tea with a rich bright flavor bouquet. The infusion has a dark copper tint. Namring tea has a sweet aroma with hints of dried fruit peel, raisins and nuts. Ideal for evening tea parties. We have Namring tea "Darjeeling Namring".
