English muffins with chocolate

Ingredients:

flour 1.5 cups salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp sugar (brown is best) 3/4 cup rolled oats 1 cup orange zest 1 tsp.

dried fruits 1 cup

orange juice 2/3 cup vegetable oil (olive is best) 1/3 cup eggs 2 almonds 1/3 cup

Cooking:

Sift flour, mix with salt, baking powder, sugar, hercules, zest and finely chopped dried fruits. In a separate bowl, mix the juice with the oil. Add the eggs to the oil and juice mixture. Beat until smooth. Combine both mixtures, knead the dough. Pour the batter into the buttered muffin tins. Sprinkle with crushed almonds. Bake for 45 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees (readiness to check with a dry stick). Remove the finished muffins from the mold, cool.

Melt the chocolate in a saucepan with a little water and pour over the muffins.
